KB2975719とは、Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2向け「August 2014 update rollup」の事です。
以前の噂レベルでは、Windows 8.1 Update 2などと呼ばれていた更新プログラムです。ふたを開けてみると全く違う内容でしたが・・・
今回の更新内容を見てみるといくつかの新機能と改善ばかり目がいってしまいますが、個人的には[List of the fixed issues]（修正された問題 一覧）が大きな目玉だと思っています。

KB2975719で修正された問題は全部で102個あります。その中でWindows Server Essentialsに関する修正内容は「KB2974308」のたった1件だけ。
Windows Server Essentials integration with Office 365 or Windows Azure Active Directory is blocked中・大規模やインフラの重要度が高い環境向けなのでしょうか。
複数台のドメイン コントローラーを稼働させている環境でWindows Server Essentialsの[Office 365 との統合]機能、または、[Windows Azure Active Directory との統合]機能を実行すると、実行中にブロックされる現象とのこと。
今回のKB2975719をインストールする事でこの問題が修正されます。
今までとは異なり、一歩前進した使われ方になる？
KB2974308 のMore Informationに興味深い説明があります。In Windows Server Essentials R2, all the online services integration features, including Azure Active Directory Integration and Office 365 Integration, are supported only in a single domain controller environment.
However, in Windows Server 2012 R2, it's quite common for the Windows Server Essentials Experiences server role to be deployed in larger IT environments where multiple domain controllers or Windows Server Essentials servers act as a domain member. To make Windows Server Essentials more effective in Windows Server and to encourage its deployment in larger IT environments, this update adds support for both Azure Active Directory integration and Office 365 integration features in the domain environment of a single domain controller, a multiple domain controller, or a member server.私が知っているWindows Server 2012 R2 Essentials は、単一 ドメイン コントローラー の環境で使用しMicrosoft オンライン サービスとの統合（Office 365やWindows Azure Active Directory）をするものだと理解していました。
しかし、継続的にインフラを動かし続ける必要がある中小企業（ダウンタイムの発生が許されないような環境）では、ドメイン コントローラーを複数台用意する場合があります。
また、Windows Server Essentials エクスペリエンス 役割は、Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard やWindows Server 2012 R2 DataCenter に対してもインストール出来るようになりました。※ユーザー数25以上、デバイス数50台以上の環境で利用可能
Windows Server Essentials エクスペリエンス を規模や環境を問わず最適・最高な形で提供するため、MicrosoftのSBSチームは今回の問題を修正したのではないのでしょうか。個人の勝手な予想ですけども。
今回の修正で喜んでいるユーザさんは多いのかな～と思っています。
余談：これも修正されたのね！
修正内容を確認している時に「お、これも修正されたのね！」と「へ～こういう問題があったのか？！」をいくつかご紹介。注意点が一つ。
