[解決済み] Windows 10 Build 9926 のWindows Driver Foundation プロセスのCPU使用率が異常に高くなる

ThinkPad TwistにインストールしたWindows 10 Technical Preview Build 9926のWindows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Host ProcessのCPU使用率が常時50%前後のままになる現象に遭遇しました。
今回は、Windows 10 Build 9926 のWindows Driver Foundation プロセスのCPU使用率が異常に高い場合の対処法をメモ。
なお、本内容は現象・調査内容・対処結果のみを説明しており、具体的な原因は残念ながら得られていません。
本件は、一部環境において音声出力中にUSBスピーカーのケーブルを抜くと発生しました。
一事例として本内容を読んでいただければ幸いです。
2015.03.19 Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10041にアップグレード後、本件は解決しました。

環境

この現象が発生した環境は、ThinkPad Twistにセカンド ディスプレイを接続しています。（接続はminiHDMI/DVI-D変換ケーブルを使用）
また、液晶ディスプレイに搭載されているUSB2.0 ハブにキーボード、マウス、USBスピーカーを接続しています。

各種ドライバーは、Inbox ドライバーまたはWindows 8.1用ドライバーを使用しています。

現象

Windows OSを起動すると「Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Host Process」（日本語であれば、Windows Driver Foundation - ユーザー モード ドライバー フレームワーク ホスト プロセス）のCPU使用率が50%前後になる。
プロセスを強制終了する事で一時的に回避できたが、OS再起動後に再発した。

Process Explorerでも確認しました。
複数あるWUDFHOST.exeの内、１プロセスだけCPU使用率が高い状況です。

調査

イベント ビューアーを調査するとDriver、Framework、User、Modeの文字が含まれるログが複数個ありました。

DriverFrameworks-UserMode #1

• イベントID：10110
• レベル：Critical
• A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. This may temporarily interrupt your ability to access the devices.

DriverFrameworks-UserMode #2

• イベントID：10116
• レベル：Critical
• The device HID Sensor Collection V2 (location (unknown)) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device in the shared process 1 more times before moving the device in its own process. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.

• The device Microsoft Visual Studio Location Simulator Sensor (location Emulated GPS Device for WinSimulator) is offline due to a user-mode driver crash. Windows will attempt to restart the device in the shared process 1 more times before moving the device in its own process. Please contact the device manufacturer for more information about this problem.

原因

音声を出力するアプリケーション（Media PlayerやStore アプリ、YouTube等）を実行中にLogicool社USBスピーカー「Z205」のUSBケーブルを抜くと本現象が発生します。

USBケーブルを挿し込む事でCPU使用率は0%に戻りました。

対処法

ログの説明内容より、ユーザー モード ドライバーがクラッシュしたようです。
なぜクラッシュしたのかは全く分かりませんが、今回は下記方法で解決できました。

1. 接続しているUSB機器をすべて外す
2. Windows 10 を再起動
3. OSにサインイン
4. USB機器を再接続

1. ThinkPadと液晶ディスプレイ間の（ThinkPad側）USBケーブルを抜く
2. 同ケーブルを差し込む

USBスピーカーを取り外した状態における対処法は二点確認できました。

• USBスピーカーのケーブルを挿し戻す
• デバイス マネージャーからUSBスピーカー デバイスを削除、再起動する

現在のWindows 10はTechnical Preview版です。
こういう事が起きても不思議ではありませんし、またドライバーもWindows 10に最適化されていません。

今後改善されればいいですね。
2015.03.19 Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 10041へアップグレードしたところ、本現象は発生していません。
対処法の一つとして、最新状態にする事が有効と判断しています。

加筆：その後

記事投稿後、幾つかのテストを更に行いました。

• USB ハブに接続するデバイス数を1～3と変化させるも、残念ながら再現する
• USB2.0 4ポート ハブを新規購入しテスト、残念ながら再現する

Windows 10 Technical Previewは最初にリリースされたBuildから使い続け、常にアップグレードし続けてきました。

余りにも不便だったのでよくある新規インストールする事で症状が出なくなりました。
2015.03.17 再発したため、新規インストールでは解決できません。

余談

他パソコン（AMD CPU&Chipset）のWindows 10 Technical Preview Build 9926にLogicool社USBスピーカー「Z205」を接続し検証した結果、本現象は見受けられませんでした。
尚、ThinkPad TwistはIntel CPU&Chipsetを利用しています。
